Act 1: Once upon a time, Mitt hated Newt. A lot. That was because Newt said super mean things about him, and looked down his nose at him, and made him feel bad about being so hard-working and rich. Things, as they say, got ugly.
Act 2: But then Newt went and had some of his own problems, mostly involving ex-wives, old enemies, and moon colonies. Mitt, meanwhile, found the going not so easy against Rick. Mitt started to miss the good old days, when Newt was his only real Rival.
Act 3: So now Mitt and Newt are besties. Because Mitt needs Newt as he never has before, while Newt needs to stay in the spotlight, thereby helping Mitt. All’s well that ends well between Rivals and Friends.
